InfoFinland supports multi-lingual communications and services

InfoFinland is a multi-lingual website providing important information in one place for those planning to migrate to Finland or already living here. The website also serves the authorities in the dissemination of multi-lingual information.

How to use InfoFinland in your services and communications

InfoFinland contains reliable information in different languages about migrating to Finland, work, studies, housing, education and training, health, family, problem situations and leisure time.

The website has a number of external links to the sites of authorities and organisations.

You can select an area on the left hand column under Cities to get information specific to that area. When you browse various topics on the website, you will be shown a link to a similar topic on the pages of the area you have selected.

InfoFinland is available in Finnish, Swedish, English, Russian, Estonian, French, Somali, Spain, Turkish, Chinese, Persian and Arabic. All language versions are identical.

On top of each page, the page title is given also in Finnish. In this way, client assistance providers can always show their clients the necessary information even when they do not share a language.

InfoFinland offers all text content through an open application programming interface (API).
