Sylvia project supports municipalities in the reception of persons entitled to international protection

The Sylvia project's aim is to promote the reception of persons entitled to international protection in municipalities. In the project, municipalities are provided with economic assistance for receiving refugees, and information about the reception and integration process.

The project is administered at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, which is responsible for the placing of persons entitled to international protection in municipalities.  Funding for the Sylvia project comes from the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund of the EU (AMIF).
